Margeaux Abeyta is a contemporary mixed media artist from Taos Pueblo and To’Hajiilee, New Mexico. Currently living and working out of Providence, RI. Her work has expanded from traditional woodwork into video, sound, storytelling and technology design. Recent works aim to create interactive digital worlds that look deeper into the relationships between traditional human values and their significance in a world of globalized structures. Through her practice she works to encourage humanity to reconnect with and build a sensitivity for the deep history and ancient stories that connect us all.
